We are writing this letter to commend our wonderful real estate agent, Josh Ross. Rich and I (Halima) went to the CU realty website and chose Josh Initially because he was closest to our location. We were very surprised when Josh was able to meet us the same night we contacted him. This was the beginning of an amazingly smooth and productive professional relationship. Josh was always courteous and if we left him a voice message he always got back to us in a timely manner.

Josh was willing to work with our sometimes crazy schedules and made us feel like we were his only client. As we went from house to house trying to find a place we liked, Josh was very patient and never made us feel like we were wasting his time. When we found our house we called Josh and in no time at all we had an offer drawn up and sent to the sellers. Josh followed up with our lenders and all other parties involved with the purchase of our house and he was an integral part of making it go smoothly.

Josh is everything that one would like in an agent and more. Rich and I are 110% satisfied with his services and highly recommend him. In the summer of 2006, I listed my condominium with a real estate agent at a reputable agency, yet the property remained on the market for over three months, with few showings, no offers and very little feedback from the agent. My poor experience lead me to interview fifteen new potential real estate agents that had experience in the area. Of all the candidates, Josh Ross stood out because of his keen insights, the depth of his market analysis and his honesty. He addressed all of my concerns and questions before ever signing a contract, thus making my choice a very easy one.

As soon as we signed the contract, Josh Ross posted new signs around the property, along with pictures and a virtual tour online. I met Josh Ross in July 2006 after having had my property on the market for nearly 3 months with poor results. I had a 1-bedroom with den condo in the Landmark area of Alexandria that was first listed in April 2006. Weeks would pass without anyone coming to visit and each day there were more condominiums being listed in my area. There was a surplus of inventory and very few buyers-things were not looking good. My listing agreeent with a previous realtor had just expired and Josh called me to see if I were interested in letting him handle the listing.

I was skeptical at first, but going with Josh turned out to be the best move I could have made. The real estate market has slowed considerably and as the days passed without any traffic or offers, I was watching my equity fly out the window. Josh showed up with a straightforward presentation that laid out exactly what I needed to do to get my property sold before the market cooled even further. Some of it was hard to accept, but it was what I needed to hear.

Dear RE/MAX Pros. I am writing this letter to commend Mr. Josh Ross for his efforts in the sale of my condominium. This was not a simple sale by any stretch of the imagination. Along the way we faced several hurdles ranging from "powers of attorney" that had to be notarized in another country, and also the difficulty of working with my deferred interest mortgage payoff. However, along the way Josh Ross never lost his resolve and always helped me remain calm and collected even during the worst of times. If not for his imaginative ways I could never have managed to summon the resources that it took to get to settlement. It is only because of his patience and determination that we were able to sell my condominium by the end of September.
